Roy was a lad who grew up in Shropshire on the welsh borders . The family transport was a Welsh cob called bob .On leaving school at 15 he travelled the world with the royal air force  and served his country for over 20 years . Upon his retirement from the raf the family for a time settled in Ebbw Vale and Roy realised his lifelong ambition to own another welshie .roy was a natural horseman kind and gentle showing patience and nerves of steel when breaking ponies and cobs to ride and drive . His test pilot for the cobs was lee his son who now runs the stud along with his two sons joe and Rhys and wife Susan . Visitors are always welcome but please call 24 hrs in advance .
